CLASSICAL DEPILATION - DEPILATION WITH WAX AND SUGAR PASTE
Depilation with wax and sugar paste are the most popular methods of hair removal in salons. The hair is removed from the root, which means that their growth and strenght are gradually diminished. Classical depilation is not painless so a lot depends on the fact that you need to be as relaxed as possible. If you have decided to say goodbye to the unwanted hair on your skin, it is good to be aware of the following: it is recommended to come to the treatment every 4 weeks because this is the interval that follows the hair growth. Before depilation, it is necessary to let the hair grow for at least 4mm, approximately 2 weeks. Everything shorther than that period will not give satisfying results. Care after depilation: PEELING removes dead skin cells and enables the hair to come out easier on the surface. This stops the hair ingrow and the appearance of whiteheads. It is recommended to do the peeling 2-3 days after the depilation and then 2-3 times a week.
Egyptian depilation (with sugar paste) was supposedly used by Cleopatra even in the 1st century BC. Egyptian waxing is especially suitable for people with sensitive skin. When sugar paste is used, dead skin cells are removed gently, so the skin remains silky and smooth for a long time.
We have prepared several tips concerning depilation for you:
- Skin peeling
Peelling is the best way to prevent hair regrowth regardless of the removal method. If you are prone to ingrown hair after waxing, do a peeling periodically 2-3 times a week until the next waxing.
- Medication usage
There is one important reason why you should take a break with the daily routine of taking accutene and retinol for the skin: waxing. These skin enhancing products should be discontinued one week before depilation, because the skin may be more sensitive and the wax can also remove the skin layer along with the hairs.
- Best Waxing Time
We recommend arranging the appointment for bikini zone depilation taking into account menstrual cycle. Because of hormonal changes and increased blood flow, most women are particularly sensitive to pain during menstruation. Therefore the best to do is to arrange depilation in mid-menstrual cycle or during ovulation.
